Maarten Wevers is Business Development Manager (Government) with the Letters and Enterprises Group, New Zealand Post Limited. Between 1977 and 2000, he served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, including as High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea, and Ambassador to Japan. He was Chair of the APEC Senior Officials’ Meeting during New Zealand’s term as APEC Chair in 1999.
