However, Asia Forum is pleased to annouce that Denise Win Thein, who will be in Wellington for short time, has agreed to update the forum on recent development of Myanmar.
Mr Denis Win Thein
Burmese born New Zealand citizen has many business interests in Myanmar and is regarded as our foremost Myanmar expert. Back in Wellington for a short time in June he will update the Asia Forum on recent changes in Myanmar after the new government taken office.
Mr. Denis Win Thein is Director of Strategic Projects at Oriel Management Consulting Pte Ltd, and is currently based in Wellington, New Zealand. Denis oversees project origination and developments in Information Technology, Education, Power Investment and Agribusiness in Myanmar and NZ. He served as the Chapter Chair for the ASEAN – NZ Business Council (based in Auckland New Zealand) for the Myanmar Chapter for ten years. In addition, he has worked with many companies and organisations in New Zealand and other countries on technology and other investments in Myanmar.
