Mr Navarro is a prominent Philippines businessman and was Secretary of Trade in the government of President Fidel Ramos (1992-96). He has been designated a Special Envoy to inform foreign investors and business people about moves by President Arroyo to restore political stability and to revitalise the economy. A certified Public Accountant, and graduate of the Harvard Business School and the University of the East, Mr Navarro is presently Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HI (an investment holding company) and EEI Corporation, the biggest industrial construction company in the Philippines. He is also current Chairman of the Philippines Committee of PBEC and Vice Chairman of the Philippines Chapter of PECC.
