Qiu Xuejun, a post-graduate of Beijing Foreign Language Institute, joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China in 1991, worked as third and second secretary in the Information Department of the Foreign Ministry from 1991-1995, worked in the Office of Foreign Affairs of Tibet Autonomous Region from 1995-1998, and since 1999 has worked as First Secretary (Political) in the Chinese Embassy in Wellington.

He wishes to cover issues related to Tibet’s economic development, religious freedom, development of Tibetan culture and answer questions of interest to the participants.
